We are a brand that produces soaps and sells creams and oils for your body, using exclusively plant and organic products. We want you to feel Nature, in its purest sense, on your skin.
Everything started with two of our children having atopic sensitive skin.
The constant irritations and allergies lead us into opting for exclusively organic products in our skin care routine. All showers started being taken with soaps made by us, using artisan techniques which were based on the best essential oil combinations and paying special attention to the PH levels of the products. These products were warmly welcomed by us and by those around us.
Two years later, we decided to take Pucco Natural more seriously, making sure that throughout the whole production, distribution and trading process we were being environmentally conscious. We are a fair trade company and we want to establish ourselves in the market as an environmentally sustainable company. Our products and packaging are individually and manually made and labelled so that you can feel the love which is put into every single product.
We are a family business and the name, Pucco, was brought about by our four children. Having no concrete meaning, it still means a lot because it appears as the realization of something which was born from love, from the womb of a family similar to most families but that has created its own brand. Who are we?

About Carmo
I’m Maria do Carmo. I’ve been married to Pedro for 20 years and we have four children: Carminho, Pedro, João and Miguel. We live in Leça da Palmeira but we are from Porto.
Last year, our children becoming teenagers and the fact that I was extremely tired due to an exciting but tiresome working life, we started thinking about change.
It’s been almost two years since I’ve started this hobby of making artisan soaps. This started because everybody at home has atopic sensitive skin. The experiences captivated every single member of our family and we started using organic essential oils and organic creams, that we make ourselves, according to the purpose of each of them. The perspective of producing for people outside of our close family and friends, to whom we already sold our products, was the stepping stone for our project of change.
That being said, I promise that, from now on, I will share every step of the way with you, all the adventures and misfortunes of a family that has set up their own business, out of passion and need. I want to share with you everything I’ve learnt throughout this journey, always making sure that I’m living by the motto “we portray what we are on the inside”. From food to organic cosmetics, I want to tell you what this awakening to food and cosmetics feels like.
